New Study brings questions to mask recommendations in Covid19 pandemic


While the debate about “social distancing”, masks, and infringement of our civil liberties reaches new heights. Previous reports on mask efficacy cite tests done with influenza, a study has now tested whether masks stop the SARS-COV-2 virus.

Study had patients with Covid19 cough with masks on, then tested the outside & inside of mask, as well as a petri dish placed in front of mask for presence of virus. The results show that virus was present afterwards on all three surfaces.

Both cloth and surgical masks were tested.
